AI Engineering Intern

Support guided AI-assisted build workflows, prototype execution, testing, documentation, data preparation, and structured output checks.

Financial District, Hyderabad · In-office internship · 6 months

Scenholm is hiring an AI Engineering Intern to support guided AI-assisted build workflows, prototype execution, testing, documentation, data preparation, and structured output checks.

This role is designed for someone who wants practical exposure to AI-assisted software delivery and modern build workflows. You do not need to be an advanced programmer on day one, but you should be technically comfortable, curious, disciplined, and willing to learn quickly.

About Scenholm

Scenholm is a Hyderabad-based education venture focused on high-quality, experience-led learning programmes. We are building practical learning experiences, internal systems, structured content, and technology-enabled workflows to support our education and venture-building work.

What You Will Work On

You will assist with supervised AI-assisted build and prototype workflows. This may include using AI tools, VS Code, terminal basics, project folders, prompts, checklists, screenshots, datasets, documentation, and output verification.

You will not be expected to independently architect or own complex engineering systems immediately. You will be trained to follow structured workflows, check outputs carefully, document results, and gradually take on more technical responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run guided AI-assisted build workflows using approved tools and instructions.
  • Use VS Code, terminal basics, project folders, AI assistants, and approved build environments.
  • Follow prompts, checklists, and documented steps carefully.
  • Test AI-generated screens, prototypes, workflows, and outputs.
  • Capture screenshots, record bugs, maintain issue logs, and document observations.
  • Prepare, clean, organise, and validate datasets, examples, files, and project material.
  • Check outputs for accuracy, completeness, formatting, and instruction compliance.
  • Maintain delivery notes, task trackers, test results, and technical documentation.
  • Assist in supervised prototype/build workflows for internal projects.
  • Escalate unclear outputs, errors, failed runs, bugs, risks, or unexpected behaviour.
  • Work inside access-controlled project environments and follow confidentiality/tool-use guidelines.

Who We Are Looking For

  • B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA/B.Sc CS/IT students or graduates.
  • Technically comfortable graduates from other backgrounds with strong interest in AI tools and software workflows.
  • Candidates comfortable with computers, files, folders, web apps, spreadsheets, and online tools.
  • Candidates willing to learn VS Code, terminal basics, prompts, testing, documentation, and structured AI workflows.
  • Candidates with basic coding exposure in Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or similar areas. This is useful but not mandatory.
  • Candidates with strong attention to detail and patience for testing, documentation, and repeated checks.
  • Candidates who can follow instructions, ask sensible questions, and escalate issues clearly.

What You Will Learn

  • How AI-assisted build workflows are executed in real projects.
  • How to use AI tools and build agents in a structured and supervised way.
  • How to work with prompts, project folders, screenshots, checklists, and documentation.
  • How to test prototypes and AI-generated outputs.
  • How to prepare and organise datasets and examples for AI workflows.
  • How to identify issues, record evidence, and communicate technical problems clearly.
  • How early-stage AI-enabled products and internal tools move from idea to working prototype.
